Simply put, I am an artist. Born
in New Mexico, I spent my early childhood in Patterson, NY and
later years in Charleston, SC. I attended Charleston County's
School of the Arts high school program for 6 years studying fine
art. There, I learned basic skills such as drawing, painting,
sculpture and photography.
From there, I moved on to receive
a BFA in FILM PRODUCTION DESIGN at the North Carolina School of
the Arts in Winston- Salem, NC. My training touched on every aspect
of motion picture filmmaking but specialized in the design and
fabrications of sets and props.
Afterwards, I spent some time in
Los Angeles, CA working for a film production company learning
the inner-workings of Hollywood. Since then, I have been back
to school for additional Science credits. My
hope is to use my artistic background to help progress scientific
education and media. I now freelance in a variety of fields.
Jack-of-all-trades is the best
way to describe what I do. Although I have studied to work in
film, I am really open to any avenue that requires design and
a creative eye. I am, among other things, a carpenter, a welder,
a sculpture, a painter, animator, drafter, photographer, etc.
I have also experimented with green-screen visual effects, stereo
3D photography, stop-motion animation, and camera rig fabrication.
My goal is to be in a position where I do something different
everyday- bringing all my various crafts into play.
